a cool video that comes with a pandigital novel

video

need to do something new!

So I've been unable to come up with any new ideas for pics. Recently have got a windows 7 laptop and pandigital novel ereader, so using those to watch latest outcasts and sanctuary eps. love reading do androids dream graphic novels, as well as brightest day series. My 2 year old probably taps the creative juices, but will do something soon!

I haven't been doing a lot of pics in a while, but have been doing some organizing. Here's a great app for those sick of windows explorer. Look for Q-Dir, and get the portable version. And Alt-V is a great move to feature. Look out Total Commander!

old but new stuff

I have been out of the loop, but here are some newer items I never posted. I made a little banner for the new Star Trek movie, and a couple of random images made with paint net

I almost forgot my blog!

I have been busy with work, got really into some games recently, and my muse left me for awhile. While Paint.Net has continued to evolve, updated itself, etc., I have failed to come up with much. I entered a contest in the Paint.Net forum. I tried another great photo editing program, called Artweaver. It allows one to use Photoshop brushes, and do some of the effects there. So, I may be using both until Paint.Net implements brushes. I have recently downloaded two additional programs, XNView and ACDSEE 10. XNView is great if you wish to quickly go through your photos and fix red eye. I ended up buying ACDSEE because it can do that as well as clone and heal. Also, I love that it can be integrated into my favorite photo printing software, HP photo image software. I use this to create album sheets with captions below each image. This came with the camera I bought in 2002!

Here is the lame picture I entered into the competion

disclaimer

Some of my renders have been taken from images I have found on the web. I have superimposed some images, one atop the other. I got the enterprise from an image potrimpo created at the renderosity site. And yes, I got the tv show clips from the web as well. So, I do not claim to make all these renders from scratch, rather, I gathered them as sections of an image and pasted them together, after tweaking them a little.

new stuff
